Easyshare System


Kodak has an original way to transfer your digital pictures to your
computer, the Kodak Digital Cameras EasyShare System using a camera dock. 

You can also use the EasyShare System using the printer dock to transfer and print your pictures.

Let's start with the EasyShare System to transfer your pictures: 

It is a three steps system.

  1. Shoot: Using your Kodak digital camera just take any pictures;


  2. Touch: Place the camera in the EasyShare Camera Dock and touch the button. That's it.

    Your pictures are transferred to your computer, the camera's battery pack is automatically recharged, and the dock's indicator light tells you when it's done.


  3. Share: Now that your pictures are transferred to your computer, it is easy to send any of your digital pictures to friends and family over e-mail.

Different camera docks are available, they all share almost the same features:
  • Transfers pictures easily from your camera to your computer.


  • Recharges your batteries.


  • Separate indicator lights show picture transfer and battery charging status.


Digital Cameras Review Online Verdict: The Kodak digital camera EasyShare System is good but not an important deciding factor when choosing which digital camera to buy.

If you decide not to get the EasyShare Docks, you use the interface cable provided with the camera to transfer your digital pictures, which is the case with most digital camera's manufacturers.

The EasyShare Dock System is good if you are travelling a lot and need to print pictures on the spot.

If you are printing your pictures from home, invest your money in a regular bubble jet printer. They are producing fantastic results if your are using the proper paper and you can get a high quality printer for about the same price as the Easy Share Printer Dock.
