The Canon Powershot S2 IS is the successor to the Powershot S1 IS. The S1 was already an excellent digital camera, but with the S2 Canon has
more than just improved the S1, the Powershot S2 is a complete digital camera with very few flaw.

The Canon PowerShot S2 IS boasts an upgrade to a 5-megapixel sensor from 3.2, a 12X zoom lens (up from 10X), and a 1.8-inch LCD compare to 1.5 inches.

A Digic II processor and a high-speed USB connection speed things up. A nice set of manual controls, as well as high-quality video

An excellent digital camera, Canon is spot on with all the improvement from its predecessor. Picture quality is better, you get more megapixel, you get an sensational 12x optical zoom and the image stabilizer makes it pleasant to use.

Not to heavy, I really like the shape and even if some people have complained about the difficulty to hold the camera, I don�t find any problem at all with holding it.

Definitely a must for your next Christmas list!
