Most digital cameras developed by Canon, Nikon, Kodak, Fujifilm, Sony and allthe others manufacturers are very good product.

Rarely we are coming across lemon with today's digital camera (I am talking about the well known digital cameras companies, I am not including in this statement unknown brand that you can get for less than $100!)

A new digital camera is released almost everyday. For that reason it can difficult to select the best camera without having to do lots of research.

To make it easier, I will identify which ones are in my opinion are the best digital camera in different categories.

This might be your first digital camera or just time to replace the old film camera. You are not really sure what type of camera to select and don't want spent too much time looking at all the digital camera reviews.

All you want is a digital camera that will take very good pictures and easy to use.

Best Buy Digital Camera: Long Zoom

If you are like me you appreciate long zoom digital camera. Most of the time a long zoom is not really necessary but I like to have it when I need it!

Great to take photos of the kids playing on the soccer or baseball field. Have you ever been to a tennis game and wished you could have taken some good shots of your favourite player but didn’t have the proper zoom? It can be frustrating but now there is a growing list of affordable long zoom digital cameras you can get without to have to spend too much money.

I consider long zoom any digital camera with a 10x optical zoom or greater.
